“We must choose those who participate in the solution.” Nicolas Hulot

We’re saddened to hear of the recent resignation of the French Minister of Ecological and Solidary Transition, Nicolas Hulot, which shows yet again that political action alone is insufficient in the face of the ‘gravest crisis humanity has ever faced’. The impak team however is more motivated than ever to contribute to this huge wave of mobilisation and environmental awakening. A mobilisation of citizens that has existed, that we’ve watched grow around us, and to which we want to provide a platform.

‘We created impak at the peak of this consciousness: change must come from the mobilisation of each of us, individual citizens, through the small choices we make every day. Engaging with people who want to make a positive change is at the core of our mission,” Paul Allard, our CEO, says.

At impak, we’re not for promoting excessive consumption, quite the contrary. We want to show that it’s possible, easy, and even rewarding to diminish our personal footprints by consuming differently, by making choices that have a positive impact on the world as a whole.

To succeed, we need the help of citizens, business owners and change actors. It’s by mobilizing together that we can create this movement for responsible consumption. So what choice can you make right now that will help build this future?
